CCNP Security - Cisco Certified Network Professional Security
Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security) program is a professional level certification for Security in Routers, Switches, Networking devices and appliances. Candidates will also learn how to choose, deploy, support and troubleshoot Firewalls, VPNS, and IDS/IPS solutions for their networking environments.
Prerequisites: CCNA Security exam.
There are four modules in CCNP Security program.

- Describe the general properties of the Cisco ASA VPN subsystem
- Implement and maintain Cisco clientless remote access SSL VPNs on the Cisco ASA.
- Implement and maintain Cisco Any Connect client-based remote access SSL VPNs.
- Implement Cisco remote access IPsec VPNs on the Cisco ASA VPN gateway.
- Implement and maintain site-to-site VPN solutions on the Cisco ASA.
- Deploy endpoint security with Cisco Secure Desktop and DAP.
642-627 IPS
- Evaluate products and deployment architectures for the Cisco IPS product line.
- Perform an initial implementation of a Cisco IPS sensor.
- Deploy customized policies to adapt Cisco IPS traffic analysis.
- Implement a basic Cisco IPS data management and analysis solution.
- Implement complex Cisco IPS policy virtualization, high availability.
- Perform the initial setup of, and maintain specific Cisco IPS hardware.
